The colloid mill MK performs wet grinding due to the frictional force generated between the rotor and stator, as well as the turbulence caused by the zigzag grooves on the surface. Additionally, the cone mill MKO is a machine developed from the colloid mill, with the milling surface processed to resemble a stone mill, achieving even finer particle sizes. Furthermore, the gap between the rotor and stator of both MK and MKO can be adjusted according to the material being processed.
